Earth & Vine
These wines were the first we picked from the Shiraz vines we planted when we first moved to Fernfield.
A cool year with higher than average rainfall gave us a mild growing season with a late finish. With the Autumn weather gods favouring us, we were able to keep the grapes on the vine until the first week of May, for slow development of complex characters.
His and Hers were picked on the same day, from the same vineyard.

From Vine to Wine
Once the grapes were in the winery, they were split into two batches and treated differently from ferment onwards.
